In years past, club members have spent the December meeting catching up on their writing exploits from the past year and looking forward to words that will flow during the year to come. This was done all while enjoying holiday baked goods. This year we’re trying something a little different, but don’t worry. We’ll still reminisce, and the baked goods are still expected!

We’re trying a little writing exercise building on a couple workshops from past meetings. Take a character from a current work-in-progress and place them in a holiday setting. No need to write a new novel. Flash length (up to 1000 words) will be fine. Those who are interested can read what they came up with during the meeting. The rest of us will nibble on our chosen holiday goodies.
