Dorothy Spruzen
A. Spruzen grew up near London, U.K., graduated from the London College of Dance and Drama Education, and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She teaches writing in Northern Virginia and is past president of the Northern Virginia Writers Club. Her poems and short stories have appeared in many online and print publications. An historical novel The Blitz Business, set in WWII England, will be published by Koehler Books on August 1. Her poetry collection Long in the Tooth was published by Finishing Line Press in July 2013. The first two novels in her Flower Ladies Trilogy–Not One of Us and Lily Takes the Field–and Crossroads: Two Novellas, are available on Amazon.com in paperback and on Kindle. The third book in the trilogy, Messenger of Love, will be released in 2016. Dorothy also enjoys the visual arts, working mostly in watercolor and pastels.
