Our next meeting is the ever-popular Roundtable Critique. Anyone who wishes will have 5-10 minutes (depending on number of interested parties) to read a piece of their work, then listen to member feedback. We have found you will get the most valuable feedback if you ask specific questions. So instead of asking “Did you like it?” try something like “Is this character someone you would have over for tea?” or “Would you want to visit this post-apocalyptic desolate landscape?” We also welcome book covers, blurbs, query letters, author notes, and anything else book-related that you would like feedback on.
