Robin Sullivan has been an expert on the business side of publishing for over 15 years. Over that time she has owned and operated a small-press publishing company, written articles for Writer’s Digest, runs the largest Writer Meetup Group in the DMV area, and has managed the publishing career of her husband (New York Times, USA Today, and Washington Post Bestselling Speculative Fiction author Michael J. Sullivan). Since 2007, she has given more than 100 free lectures on topics ranging from how to find and land an agent, demystifying publishing contracts, the financial aspects of publishing, the pros and cons of self versus traditional publishing, book distribution, and various topics about launching and marketing books. As a pioneer in using Kickstarter to launch novels, she has earned more than a million dollars across multiple projects, and to this day, her Kickstarters are among the Most Backed and Highest Funded Fiction Kickstarters of all time.
