Traci Carter
Social Media Maven
Ms. Carter, writing as Truest Carter, has lived in Northern Virginia for 20 years. She is a USAF veteran, nurse, and over 11-year BC survivor.
T.C. is a writer and registered nurse with a BSN and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. She has lost count of completed online and in-person writing courses but is always glad to join another. T.C. is a veteran of the USAF Nurse Corps and currently works with children of military families. To expand her network of writer friends, she volunteers with the Northern Virginia Writers Club as a social media liaison and belongs to several writing organizations.
While T.C. has been published in professional journals and presented at national healthcare conferences, she is new to querying her novel. The Virginia Writers Club Journal published her short story, BATTLEFIELDS, in 2022. Lately, she obsesses about writing historical romance novels with a women’s rights theme. When she is not researching a historical romance plot, T.C. recharges on hikes with her husband and their energetic rescue dog.
