Pantsing is ‘writing by the seat of your pants’ and plotting ranges from a brief outline to detailed scene by scene summaries. There is no ‘one size fits all’ formula for writing your novel and every writer has to find their own way to “The End”. But it definitely helps to find out what other writers are doing – perhaps they’ve found a method that may work well for you, or one you haven’t tried yet.
